This week has been super busy, super because that has been the theme of this weeks crafting! Last weeks fair generated a whole lot of super hero glove orders, custom orders for the super hero of choice. Every geek is different and everyone has their own tastes. Here are a few of the ones I’ve been doing for customers this week.
Robin DC gloves!
Here we have Robin from Batman and Fluttershy from My Little Pony (special brony gloves). They are all measured to fit and all colours and designs were agreed with the customer. These really are fully customization friendly.
We have a few more in the works, an order for Joker, Black Canary and Nightwing!
Do you have a favorite hero? Do you fancy having warm hands while you type but still want to be able to comment on your favorite blogs? Get in touch today to go through the design process with us, the result is gloves designed JUST FOR YOU!
At only £9 with P+P (£10 outside the UK) They are a geeky snap!
All gloves are designed totally by me using a full trial and error developed pattern (poor manpal has been the guinea pig for months!) and will be to your own color and logo choices all in line with our #SupportCraft ethos.
Sorry about the late late post! On Sunday I was uber tired after a busy old week; I’ve paper mached, dyed my hair, crocheted sewed, worked, cried, laugh, dined, had my anniversary and made business related plans.
However, that all aside, allow me to show you my latest project to join my crafty family. Batman gloves.
They are not the gloves you might want, but they are the gloves you deserve! Cosy gloves made in yellow and black double knit wool, crocheted with a 4mm hook, took about 3 days to finish, filtering in the time it took me to hunt down black felt.
This week I’m back on the crochet, and I’ve been mastering some funky new knots and stitches. Half double crochet, double crochet, rings and chains. It’s been a busy week!
I was trawling pintrest for more pinspiration and found a pair of kids iron man gloves, I gave it a good go but the pattern was very very small.
So I improvised…
I manged to figure out the basics and kinda just went at it. I will be writing out a full pattern this week for anyone who wants to know how to make these and it is SO SIMPLE!
I made these bad boys for my man pal- captain america gloves inspired by the avengers. They are officially my first fully finished piece of crochet They are perfect for his big shovel hands (proper man hands, lol)
